The youngest and tallest (on 2 legs) of our kids. He puts up with SO much from us! He is such a good boy. As you can tell, he is very easy going!

The GREAT Wolf Lodge

In March we spent 2 days at the Great Wolf Lodge...one of our FAVORITE places to go! It is a huge waterpark/hotel. It was SO much fun. We go at least once every year. This was the least crowded it has ever been, which added to our fun!

This Week....

This past weekend our friends, the Snapp's came to visit. They have 6 kids. It was a blast to have 9 kids and 4 adults in our house for the weekend! The 6 boys (ages 11-5) and 3 girls (ALL age 2) had a GREAT time playing together...with NO fighting!!! Can you believe that?!?!
They are moving from Ohio to Idaho in a few weeks. We are really going to miss them!
On Sunday I made the BEST BBQ chicken ever!!! I got the recipe from a friend of mine who is the best chef I've ever known. ALL 13 of us liked the chicken, so if anyone wants a GREAT marinade for chicken, email me!
Chandler and Jacob are on Mid-winter break, they have the whole week off school! Aaron leaves for Green Bay on Wednesday and comes back on Friday. Then we have BIG plans for next week...THE GREAT WOLF LODGE!!!! Our annual trip and we are SO excited!
We are also excited to the temp rise above 32F in the forecast this week. We are tired of the deep freeze! The boys played outside for 15 minutes tops today and came rushing back in for hot chocolate with red cheeks and noses.

FREEZING

This past week we have finally got winter! Up until now it has been very mild. We still haven't got a lot of snow this winter but it sure has been cold. My boys were out of school last Monday and Tuesday due to the cold. A little ridiculous if you ask me, but nobody did ask me! It was
-20F or -29C with the wind chill. I couldn't tell the difference between that and a few day later when it was 17F. Cold is cold.

Christmas

We really enjoyed Christmas this year...it was the FIRST year that our children woke us up...not the other way around!! From the living room I hear, Jacob: "Thank you Santa, wherever you are" Chandler: "Holy cow!" I think they were both excited! We all had to wake Brooklyn up but when she say that Santa had left her baby doll stuff there was no slowing her down.

2 days after Christmas we went to FLORIDA!!! We enjoyed the sunshine and warmth SO much! ...not to the mention the hospitality of our great friends, the Garrett's.

It was our kids first time seeing the ocean. They loved it! We went to Disney World, Universal Studios and Gatorland. We had a great time...we are hoping to go again next winter!

Our Anniversary

We celebrated our 12th anniversary on December 19th! It has been a great 12 years. I am a lucky lady! I was thinking on my anniversary about all the things we have gone through in 12 years...school, moving to Wyoming, more school, moving to Kansas, more school, then having 2 wonderful boys, then moving to Michigan, having a little girl and Aaron starting his own business. It has been exciting. You know that I married a wonderful guy when you hear the sweet things my boys say to me about how I look, or when my boys hold doors for me or their sister. I am a lucky lady!! I love you Aaron.

New Car

Aaron got a new car...living the life of luxury!! Check out pics...he is loving it...it doesn't take much after driving that old Escort!
