My parents

Only the BEST parents in the world!
They do so much for me. They came to my house for a month, helped to keep my house clean, kids happy, carpooled my kids, painted my house, fixed "little" projects, weeded my garden, mowed my lawn, played games, and just had a great time!
I LOVE them and miss them so much!

The Grand Canyon

My Aunt Janis and Uncle Neal came to visit while my parents were here. Aunt Janis had never seen the Grand Canyon. We ended up taking a day trip there while the kids were in school. It is so amazing, even though I've seen it before, it still brings tears to my eyes. AMAZING!
The coolest thing was covering Aunt Janis' eyes until we walked right up to the railing. Seeing her reaction the first time she stood right over the canyon was an experience I will never forget!

Pictures just don't do it justice. You have to "feel" it.

Tucson, AZ

My parents came to visit!! They wanted to meet up with some friends who live in Tucson, AZ. Aaron remembered "the best steakhouse" he has ever been to was in Tucson! So we decide to meet them there. We pull up and see the BIGGEST dive ever! We sit down to eat and of course I want to order a diet coke. Nope, no such luck! Not Pepsi products either people! Ever heard of RC Cola?! Yup, our choices of soda pop were RC Cola or diet RC or orange! LOL! Then I asked for the menu, nope, no menu either! It is an "oral" menu. No prices go along with that oral menu either. (good thing my Dad paid for it!! ;) ) Of course, what are my kids going to do without chicken fingers and fries?!?! Anyway, it was a great steak! I can't say, like Aaron can that is the "best". But it really was good. I still think food tastes better when washed down with diet Coke!! :)

16 happy years

There once was a time when we had our picture taken and a little child didn't feel the need to give us bunny years! It sure has been fun 16 years!!

Christmas Eve

Guess what I got for Christmas?

Temple Lights

We went to see the lights at the Mesa, AZ temple. It was beautiful.

My brother Jared, his wife, Elaine and their daughters, Elle and Paige came to visit!

Thanksgiving

Our "thankful tree".
We started this tradition a few years ago. Everyone writes on a paper leaf something they are thankful for and hangs it on the tree. It becomes our thanksgiving dinner centerpiece!

November 2010

In November, we can still wear shorts and t-shirts outside! We love it.

Happy Halloween 2010

Kelli and McEvitt's Wedding October 2010

I got to go to my sister's wedding in October for 10 days! Aaron stayed home with the kids.

It was so fun to be there and share in their joy. They are an amazing couple.

October Break 2010

During October break, we went up into the mountains of Arizona with our friends, the Allen's.

We stayed at an amazing cabin. The National Forest was their backyard!

The kids went on a scavenger hunt.

We had SO much fun riding quads and learning to ride dirt bikes.

What a fun week!!

Jacob joins the Band!

Our first Diamondbacks Baseball game!

Maybe we will always be Tiger fans, but it was fun to go the Diamondbacks game...even if they lost!

Fun in the Pool

One of the highlights of moving to Arizona is having a pool in our backyard. The kids LOVE it!

First day of School August 2010

Ok, so I'm a little behind in posting!
