Happy 7th Birthday Jacob!

Yup, you guessed it...on his 7th BIRTHDAY Jacob lost his FIRST TOOTH!!! Can you see the glow in his eyes? Can he be any more excited?!?!
It is hard to believe we were in Kansas City 7 years ago today in the hospital with him. Time flies when you are having fun!

Stake Conference

This is on our way to Stake Conference....the reason why you see a picture of my little man on the way to Stake Conference is because it was his first time speaking in Stake Conference! When the Stake President asked if Chandler could speak, I said, "don't you mean Aaron?" Nope, they wanted to Chandler to speak! He gave a 3 minute talk on how reading the Book of Mormon has helped him develop a testimony. I was more nervous than he was. He memorized the talk too. It was a great experience for him.

Our FIRST fishing trip

Some friends of ours just bought a house on the Huron River. They invited us over to fish. We ALL caught at least one fish and Chandler caught about eight. None were big enough to keep, but that didn't bother anyone. We had a great time! Jacob fell in the river ...which he says is the highlight of his trip.

Painting...

Alright, this was a month long project for me...that STILL isn't totally complete. The wallpaper in my bathroom was falling off...it looked AWFUL! So, I started tearing it down, which didn't happen very easily..I had to scrape every tiny spot on the wall. Then, the wall was so rough, a friend spent a day with me texturizing the wall. I picked this DARK brown color (the wallpaper was white, so it is a huge difference). I got new towels and towel racks and a new light fixture. It looks great! I love it. I still need to nail the baseboards in and adjust the blinds to the right size....that might be next winter's project.
